We’re thrilled to share exciting updates following our participation in the recent workshop held at a major event in APLOG Trade Fair in Lisbon, between October 15 and 16, 2024, which attracted over 250 attendees throughout the day. The FOR-FREIGHT project significantly impacted this event, engaging participants and generating meaningful discussions about the future of multimodal transport and logistics optimisation.

While the workshop itself saw 32 participants actively contributing to the discussion, many more attendees stopped by, listened, and engaged with the FOR-FREIGHT project. One of the standout indicators of the event’s success was the increased viewership of our project’s YouTube videos (+144 views), which were shared via the workshop questionnaire. This demonstrates that while 32 attendees contributed to the workshop, many more were interested in learning about the project’s innovative solutions.

During the conference breaks, we took the opportunity to introduce the FOR-FREIGHT project to a broader audience. We highlighted how our project is reshaping the approach to multimodal logistics and aligning it with the latest innovations. The key topics of the FOR-FREIGHT project were integrated into the workshop discussions, and participants were invited to fill out a questionnaire and watch a video, both of which offered deeper insights into our work. These resources were made available exclusively through the questionnaire link, encouraging attendees to engage further with our content.

Additionally, FOR-FREIGHT’s video presentation was shown at various moments during the day, ensuring the project’s message reached as many attendees as possible. By combining face-to-face discussions, video content, and interactive questionnaires, we succeeded in sparking interest and participation.
