AIA & Goldair Handling at the 7th International Logistics Forum: Innovating Multimodal Freight Transport

We are proud to share that the FOR-FREIGHT EU project was recently represented at the prestigious 7th International Logistics Forum, organised by the Hellenic Institute for Logistics Management (ILME) at Harokopio University of Athens. This event brought together industry leaders and logistics experts to discuss the future of freight transport and logistics management.

At the forum, the FOR-FREIGHT project was in the spotlight as we showcased the innovative technologies that aim to transform the multimodal freight transport sector. By leveraging cutting-edge solutions, FOR-FREIGHT is committed to maximising the efficiency, sustainability, and overall potential of freight logistics across various transport modes.

As part of the Greek Pilot, the Athens International Airport (AIA) plays a pivotal role in optimising the connection between the Port of Piraeus and the airport. This collaboration is instrumental in enhancing the integration of freight flows and improving the logistics ecosystem in the region.

The FOR-FREIGHT project thrives on strong partnerships, and the success of this initiative would not be possible without the support of key collaborators. We are especially grateful to our partners at Athens International Airport and Goldair Handling for their contributions and dedication to the project. Their expertise in managing critical logistics processes has been invaluable in driving the project forward.

The participation in the 7th International Logistics Forum was not only an opportunity to share our progress but also to engage with fellow industry professionals who are equally passionate about the future of logistics. We look forward to continuing our work in improving multimodal freight transport and developing solutions that enhance sustainability and efficiency.
