On the 13th-15th of June 2023, FOR-FREIGHT attended the International Physical Internet Conference: Expanding the Logistics Scope (IPIC) in Athens, Greece, and had the pleasure of meeting ALICE!

The Physical Internet Initiative aims at:

• facilitating the way physical objects are moved, stored, realized, supplied and used among and across supply chains, making collaboration and sharing possible at marginal cost and pursuing global logistics efficiency and sustainability;
• getting freight flows and logistics services as easy to access and connected as information and services are over internet. Physical Internet aims at massive flow consolidation in both global and last mile logistics.

The Project Coordinator HIT/CERTH had a fruitful discussion about our collaboration’s next steps.
